We specialise in transporting motorcycles internationally, and we can arrange for pickup, packaging, and shipping from almost any location worldwide. There are two ways to ship motorcycles, the first being groupage. Our typical process involves picking up your motorcycle and bringing it to our warehouse, where it will be measured and securely placed in a crate. This crate will then be transported to the port and shipped with other shipments to its final destination. You will only be charged for the space your motorcycle occupies. If your motorcycle is already crated or you can transport it to the port yourself and do not require storage, we can adjust our rates accordingly. We have extensive experience in shipping and are confident that we provide the safest way to transport your motorcycle or scooter from the UK. Our approach involves placing your vehicle in a custom-built wooden crate that is specifically designed to fit its dimensions. This ensures maximum security during transit, and we only charge you for the exact size of the crate required for your motorcycle.
Based on our extensive experience in the shipping industry, we believe that we offer the most secure method of shipment for your motorcycle or scooter. We accomplish this by packing your vehicle in a custom-made wooden crate that is specifically designed to fit your motorcycle’s dimensions. This ensures that we can charge you for the exact volume of the crate. Alternatively, we can ship your vehicle using a roll on/roll off (RORO) service, but this option is not widely available. When you request a quote from us, we can provide you with more information on whether this service is available for your specific needs. We offer a daily motorbike collection service that covers the entire UK, and we can arrange for your vehicle to be transported to the port of departure or our packing facility using specialised collection vehicles. However, you are welcome to make your own arrangements to deliver your vehicle if you prefer. We will provide you with the necessary directions, customs documentation, and paperwork to deliver your vehicle directly to the port or packing station.
The shipping crates are custom-made to fit each bike precisely. Initially, the bike is placed on a sturdy base and secured with wooden blocks to prevent movement. The wheels and stand are also secured with strap banding, which is covered with foam padding to prevent any damage to the bike’s paintwork. Once the bike is secured to the base, it is braced with timber and more foam padding is added to protect the paintwork. Finally, the top of the crate is secured, and the entire crate is externally strapped and sealed with a unique number to ensure that it cannot be tampered with during shipping. We offer the option to pick up your motorcycle from your home or you can choose to bring it to our depot to save money. Your bike will be securely packed in a custom wooden case that has enough space for your helmet, leathers, and some personal belongings if needed. Once packed, your motorcycle will be sent to the port for immediate shipment overseas.
For most customers, shipping your motorbike by sea will be the most cost effective method. The crated motorbike will be loaded into a steel shipping container along with other customers shipments. We offer weekly sailings to all major worldwide ports. As soon as your bike has been loaded onto a vessel we will automatically forward confirmation of the sailing details together with contact information for our local partner overseas.
RoRo shipping will see your bike ridden on to a specialist vessel designed for the transportation of cars and motorbikes and secured into purpose built racks. Bikes are then simply driven off at destination for customs clearance and collection
Where quick transit times are paramount we also offer the option of sending your motorbike by air freight. The crated bike will be sent directly to the airport for immediate loading to an aircraft with shipping taking a day or two. We will forward a copy of the air waybill immediately, confirming flight dates and times together with contact information for our local partner handling customs formalities.
We offer full marine transit insurance for all motorbikes shipped from the UK – ensuring your peace of mind for your cherished bike. For customers leaving the UK but not travelling immediately we also offer storage at our secure UK depot prior to shipping.
